HHTRC
NEW LOCATION.
On behalf of the
HHTRC Board of Directors and Staff we are proud to
announce the relocation of Helping Hands Therapeutic
Riding Center.
Over the last three
years we have seen tremendous growth in the program.
This has been a blessing and keeps the Board of
Directors strategically planning for the future of HHTRC.
With 30% growth per
year over the last 3 years, our first priority has been
relocation. Although we have thoroughly enjoyed our
“starter home” property, the board has developed
stringent guidelines to finding a suitable location.
After looking at several locations over the last 2 years
we have finally found a good match.
Beginning December
1st, the program will be relocating to 31505 Stringtown
Rd in Greenwood, MO. The new location is 7 miles
directly south of our current location. From 50 Highway;
take 7 Highway South for 3 miles to East Stringtown Road. At
East Stringtown Road go east (left) 2.4 miles, the property
is on the right. The property is within 30 miles of 75%
of KC Metro population.

Welcome to Helping
Hands Therapeutic Riding Center
HHTRC is a not-for-profit
501(c)(3) providing hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with special needs.
Therapeutic horseback riding
brings about remarkable benefits to its riders through stretching both
mind and muscles. Improvements in posture, balance, coordination,
muscle tone, confidence and self-worth are amazing. Spastic muscles
relax and muscles not ordinarily used are challenged. For someone who
can't walk, see, communicate or succeed at simplest tasks, riding a
horse allows them to experience a new sense of freedom; they are
transported to where dreams come true and spirits soar.

2007 Autumn Horse Show was another success!
