Currently HHTRC does not receive any
governmental or United Way funding. We rely on contributions from
individuals, corporations, social and service organizations, church
groups and foundations. Because Helping Hands was founded in the
belief that "all children are equal in the saddle," the ability to pay
will never be a restricting factor for participating.
Helping Hands annual budget is used primarily to maintain our herd of
15 horses, stables and property maintenance and utilities, payroll,
insurance and accredited membership in NARHA, the North American Riding
for the Handicapped Association, a national organization which
establishes safety standards and educational programs for therapeutic
riding programs. HHTRC is a NARHA Premier Accredited Center.
Policies for restricted funds and anonymous donations are adhered to.
All donations are tax deductible.
