WHO WE ARE....

Who we are...

Our staff consists of:

  • Licensed health care professionals
  • NARHA certified therapeutic riding instructors
  • Skilled horse handlers

HHTRC is fortunate to have an amazing group of therapists who contract with us to make hippotherapy services available to our participants. Our therapists practice in clinical and other “non-traditional” settings in the Kansas City metro area, and provide hippotherapy at HHTRC one to two days a week. Each therapist holds specialized credentials in hippotherapy from the American Hippotherapy Association.

Lacey Robinson Equine Trainer

With over ten years of equine experience and several years of interning in both Missouri and Texas with several different trainers.  Not to mention showing around the world in several events at the AQHA level.  I  have now decided to specialize in western events and have begun training at HHTRC along with taking on clients of my own.  I love giving both group and private lessons to adults and children they always amaze me as I am able to watch them advance their horsemanship skills.  Last of all I am grateful that I can pass along my skills in the show ring as I teach the kids in the arena. Lacey also offers horse training for the HHTRC horses as well as client horses.
