For enrollment contact the Executive Director at 816-697-5400 and be prepared to spend 10-20 minutes completing an initial intake interview.

In this initial interview, we will explain our programs, the assessment and enrollment process, fees for programs, and review any possible precautions to therapeutic horseback riding or hippotherapy.

When a rider has reached the top of the wait list, they are contacted with follow-up paperwork. When this paperwork is completed in full, an assessment is scheduled. The assessment will be conducted by a licensed PT, or OT, and the Executive Director.

The purpose of this assessment is to ensure each rider is appropriately placed into our program, and goals and strategies for success are identified early on. Only upon completion of this assessment will a rider be eligible to register in our programs.
